How to Bid
How does bidding work?
You have two simple options when placing a bid:
Quick Bid: By default, our site automatically fills in the next minimum bid increment so you can easily place the next available bid.
Custom Bid: You can also manually enter a bid amount of your choice. As long as it follows our bidding rules (explained below), your bid will be accepted.
What are your bidding rules?
Unlike many other online auctions, we do NOT use a proxy bidding system. This means the amount you bid is exactly what gets placed — no automatic incremental bidding on your behalf.
Example: If an item is currently at $10 and you bid $50, the current bid will immediately rise to $50. No guessing games, and no hidden maximum bids!
Bid Increments:
High-Value Auctions: $5 minimum bid increments
Overstock Auctions: $1 minimum bid increments
All bids must be a multiple of the required increment. For example, in a High-Value auction, you can bid $45 or $50 — but not $47. If you try to place an invalid bid, our system will prompt you with the nearest valid amounts.
Can I remove my bids?
Bids cannot be removed unless you are the only bidder on the item. If there are other bidders, we can only adjust your bid to the lowest amount just above the next highest bidder — to keep it fair for everyone.
⚠️ Important: We do not adjust or remove bids on auction day. If you made a bidding mistake before auction day, please contact us immediately.
How do I know if I’m winning an item?
Our real-time system can track your status without refreshing the page:
When do items close?
Items are open for bidding as soon as they’re listed. End Times are Visible Till The Auction Ends.
End times stagger every two minutes, depending on the number of items listed.
Some listings may extend past their end time if bidding continues — see “Soft Close” below.
What is a “Soft Close”?
To ensure fair bidding and prevent “sniping,” we use a soft close system:
If a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes of an item’s end time, the countdown resets to 2 minutes.
This continues until no new bids are placed, and time runs out — giving everyone a fair chance to win.
The auction is over — what now?
After the auction ends:
Visit your Account Dashboard to see if you’ve won.
Check the pick-up schedule for collection details.
⚠️ Note: If you don’t pick up your items on time, you risk losing them. An account suspension will apply, and a 15% restocking fee is required to reinstate your account. Lost items cannot be reclaimed.
Are there reserves or minimum prices?
No, there are no reserves or minimum sale prices — every item sells for what it gets bid at. However, all items start at a $5 opening bid to cover listing costs.
