Buyer protection with clear rules. All sales are final unless approved under our warranty policy.
Important: Once items are sold, ownership transfers to the buyer. Warranty is void if items are removed from their packaging before leaving our facility. Please inspect items at pickup before transport.
1What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns as we are an auction house, not a retail store. All sales are final unless the item qualifies under our warranty policy and you have received staff approval via a Return Authorization Form.
- Once items are sold, ownership is transferred.
- Warranty is voided if items are removed from their packaging before leaving our facility.
- Please thoroughly inspect items that you unpack at pickup to ensure satisfaction before transport.
2What is covered under your warranty?
We offer a full money-back warranty on all items sold at auction unless:
- The item is listed “as-is”.
- The item was sold in a clearance auction.
Buyer Protection Unlike most auction houses that sell everything “as-is”, Golden Eagle Auction is committed to buyer protection and product quality, giving our members peace of mind when bidding.
3Warranty timeframe & deadlines
Each auction will clearly list a warranty deadline on both the auction catalog and item listings.
To qualify for a refund:
- Return requests must be approved before the warranty deadline.
- Item must be returned in the same condition it was sold, with original packaging.
No returns will be accepted after the deadline — no exceptions. We provide ample time to inspect/test items — it is your responsibility to do so.
4What qualifies for a refund?
We will exchange or refund (if no replacement is available) only if:
- The item has a manufacturer defect.
- The item was misrepresented in the listing (e.g., wrong item or condition).
- The item was factory sealed but damaged/incomplete and this was not disclosed.
5What is not covered?
As a liquidation company, we do not accept returns for:
- Minor or easily fixable issues (e.g., missing generic screws, bolts, dowels, manuals).
- Items not returned in original packaging.
6Steps to return an item under warranty
- Fill out a Return Authorization Form completely.
- Get approval from a manager before returning the item.
- Return the item with original packaging before the warranty deadline.
Missed deadlines mean no refund — no exceptions.
7Customer satisfaction & inspections
We inspect thousands of items monthly and strive for accuracy, but human error is possible. Less than 1% of items sold require returns — a record we are proud of!
If we miss something, contact us and complete the Return Authorization Form so we can resolve the issue promptly.
Tip: Use our website messaging system for return inquiries. This creates a clear record and avoids missed calls during busy periods.
8Does manufacturer warranty apply?
Since we are a liquidation/auction company, we are not authorized retailers, so manufacturer warranties may or may not apply. Whether a manufacturer honors a warranty depends on their policies, such as:
- Proof of purchase (invoice).
- Valid serial numbers.
- Purchase from an authorized seller (which we are not).
Recommendation: If manufacturer warranty is essential to you, contact the manufacturer directly to confirm their policy before bidding.
